Handmade in Gragnano, Italy using techniques mastered and carried by local artisans since the 12th century, Pasta di Gragnano exhibits a uniquely delicate texture and flavor afforded by Gragnano-grown durum wheat flour, low-calcium water from Gragnano's nearby Lattari mountains and the region's ancient mixing and drying techniques.
Known as the "the city of pasta", even Gragnano's main street, Via Roma, was built in order to maximize sun exposure for the pasta shops that line it, making the city itself a natural part of the pasta-making process.
